The speech and debate team traveled to the Dripping Springs TFA tournament on Saturday, December 10. This tournament included schools of all conferences, but was primarily teams in the 5 and 6A conferences. After an extremely long day of competition, individual congratulations go to:
(junior) Lillian Dean - 3rd place Poetry
and the senior team of Katelyn Mendez and Elijah Sarazua - 3rd place Policy Debate
Also on the road were (freshman) Alyssa Brown who competed in Poetry and (freshman) Carter Rissmiller who competed in International Extemporaneous Speaking. Both students are extremely talented and have very promising careers in forensics.
